COME UP HITHER

For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.
Pro 25:7

God had bypassed my carnal mind and Divinely placed a Knowing in my heart. I now knew deeply without any doubt that "man's free will" was a myth built upon faulty perception which might be better called "illusion."

Confirmation in a Vision and a Word

Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? Mat 27:17

In the midst of my participation in a forum discussion on the subject of Evil and God's Sovereignty I laid down to pray before going sleep for the night. As is occasionally a practice with me, this night I meditated on Christ and His Cross before praying. I was surprised, that this evening, as it seemed I could not see Christ nor His Cross. My sight was blocked and all I could see in front of me was a sea of arms raised in different positions of movement. There were fists clenched with some and with others there were signs of approval and disapproval being displayed in a variety of ways. I couldn't hear anything but I sensed that there was also much shouting accompanying the raised and animated arms of this crowd.

I asked the Lord what are these people shouting and He said, "they are shouting their approval that Barabbas be released and they are also shouting many disapproving things about Jesus whom they want crucified.

He also responded, "they are "making a choice"."

The next morning as I drove to the grocery store I was thinking about this vision I had the night before. I asked the Father if there was anything else as far as an interpretation accompanying this dream. He only said three words, "come up hither."

That was all the interpretation I needed. God had clearly showed me the difference in perspectives. From an earthly point of view I couldn't see Christ but only a sea of men making a "choice." However if I was to "come up hither" to the Throne of God I would see that these men were but playing their parts under the sovereign direction and purpose of God.

God holds all the strings and it is only by false impression and faulty perception that man thinks He moves free of God's sovereign direction and purpose. What wondrous peace and love is shed abroad in our hearts when we surrender all to the One and Only Free Will of the Father.

The Father beckons "come up hither" and I pray the wings of your soul will learn to beat the upper rarefied air of His Heavens.
