THE ECONOMICS OF A SON ....... "The Curse Reversed and Metamorphosis "

.
THE CURSE REVERSED
I have spent more time in prayer lately than at any time in my life, thus the reason for so few blogs of late. Truly in my walk, which with all honesty becomes so very painful at times, I couldn't make it with out a great deal of time spent laying on the Father's breast. The other day I was so worn and tattered that it seemed, I had only laid out a handful of prayerful petitions all day long. As night came on, I felt quite worthless and as if I had wasted a whole day. I was downtrodden, as I thought my life has increasingly become just as the barest of existence. Then with wonderful sweet tenderness my Lord spoke to me that if a day's produce consisted of just one solitary well appointed prayer, that day was considered rich in accomplishment and gain within His Kingdom. I then wept, wondrously contemplating how good is this Lord of ours. Truly I am leaning little by little that His burden is light and His work is love.

It seems the ways of the world and traditions of the organized church die a hard death. These two realms, are tied to the "cosmos", which is the universal system, and they push hard on man toward works and unceasing activity. Surely, all of the forms of the bane of incessant production and work are tied to Adam's curse.

"By the sweat of your face You will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return." Gen 3:19

I would like to think that as we come close to our complete transformation ........ our metamorphosis ......... our glorification, that this curse might loose it's hold on us. Should the world economies falter further where man had no work, will God's son's be enabled to walk out of and away from "Adam's sweat of your brow curse"? Can God's elect find sustenance and provision by doing only the works of the Father as did our older brother Jesus? Will a days work for a son or daughter of the Highest sometimes consist of a few well appointed prayers? Might another day's activity be made up solely of sweet fellowship with the gathering of family and friends with Jesus in the midst? Maybe even just a long country walk with one's Lover and Bridegroom might fill the bill, for a day well spent.? I can't answer all those questions, but there is something in my heart that says, very soon the sons of God are going to see their life's work change and instead of sweat dripping from their brow they will walk ever with their LORD God in the garden, in the cool of the day."

As usual I set out to write something entirely different and had no inkling to share that above. It felt good, so maybe there is something there. I know Eliyah and I once shared a short exchange on the curse soon being reversed. Anyway I wanted to write a short introduction to a message by Bob Torango that I copied from a forum discussion we are enjoying.

Within this excerpted message Robert explains why physical death came to man by way of Adam. In truth the way he writes it, physical death is a merciful act relieving man of having to exist in an "eternal state of contradiction, having a corrupted nature along with a state of immortality."

This short anointed message is about as clear as I have seen written on death, resurrection and the manifestation of the sons of God. I pray you find new understanding and hope in these words. May they also add encouragement to my earlier spontaneous message as we leave the curses of Adam behind and our corruption in the dust.
I can only believe that more and more of His Life, Light and Glory is being realized with each passing hour as we walk into the dawn of the never ending Day of Lord.

ENTERING THE MOST HOLY PLACE
Some think that we have no need to expect a further salvation, as they believe it has all been accomplished at the cross, and now we have nothing else to experience except that which has been done in Christ Jesus Himself. I, however, believe that the journey is far from over! This is only the beginning of the wonders of Christ yet to be made known to this present age. I see this eonian unfolding of God's purpose and will for mankind as an ongoing, progressive unveiling of the riches of Christ, which have been secured for us in Christ and will now be made available to those that He is forming as a First Fruit company of heirs of His glory. In them, the nature and character of Christ will be fully developed to be the First Expressions of His manifest Self, which will then be presented in stages, (trumpet blasts), to the rest of the world. But, it must begin in us, before it can be manifest to the rest of mankind. We are involved in an ongoing relationship experience with our Father that includes that which WAS, that which IS and that which IS TO COME. As heirs apparent of such an awesome commission, it is incumbent upon us to have the spirit reveal to us what HAS been done in Christ, what IS being done in our being and what is TO BE DONE in the world. Ultimately, we must know that our destiny in Christ is to be put on open display to the world, fully perfected in Christ, a Corporate Man of the Christ essence, which will bring an end to the remaining vestiges of sin and death.

This is why I think it is important to see the ongoing process of being "made whole" by the metamorphosis of life swallowing up death. I used to think this would happen in the future, in heaven, but I now see this happening here and now, in a people first, as the evidence to the world that the vivifying, resurrection life of Christ was not just a singular event for Him only, but will now be seen and witnessed in many sons, raised into that same glory, while in this body. I think we truly need to be awakened to what is happening in us at this point in history, as the veil of fleshly understanding is being rent and we are being ushered into the most holy place of the temple of God, which we are .........

METAMORPHOSIS
Personally, I believe Adam brought BOTH a spiritual death and a physical death to the human race. When the scripture states, "In the day you eat, you shall surely die", the DAY it is speaking of is Adam's life in the garden and the death it is speaking of is separation from God. Prior to the act of sin, Adam walked in the garden with God, in relationship with Him, but this face to face relationship was severed when Adam sinned, which was indeed a "set up", since there is no OOPS in God. Adam was meant to eat of the fruit of good and evil, in order to continue the journey of redemption, which was in the works all along. Physical death is a natural result, or side effect, of spiritual sin. God numbered the days of man, since corruption was now at work in the being of man. If Adam had eaten of the Tree of Life, he would have been in an eternal state of contradiction, having a corrupted nature along with a state of immortality. So, it was the grace of God which drove the man from the garden to continue the process of rearranging mankind's makeup, both spirit, soul AND body. Scientists tell us that man is supposed to live forever, but in the genetic DNA of our cells, there is a time in the aging process where a "death sentence" is written, which causes the cells to start to die, whereas before that time period the cells have the ability to grow and develop endlessly. It is called a genetic death switch and it corresponds with the numbering of the years of a human's life.

Jesus became the Pattern Son for us, in that He overcame not only sin, but death AND the grave. In so doing, He finished the work of conciliation, which went into immediate affect at His resurrection, but He also set a precedent for a glorification for the natural body, but this was not to be brought into activation until there was a generation of believers that were found "incorruptible", which would then qualify them for an immortal, glorified body. I do not see this as something that happens at some future millennium, as I believe this is the Day of the Lord, the appointed time for believers to experience the Feast of Tabernacles, which, again, I do not believe points to some way off time in heaven, but it is a spiritual Feast that represents God filling His house with His Life and Glory. In I Cor, 15 we find Paul discussing with us a "mystery" in the Greek, a Sacred Secret. Obviously, this was something that Paul wanted us to ponder and seek out a truth that was not "obvious", but a truth that one had to look beyond the obvious to find. Origen, the great Early Church Father, believed that the scriptures had 3 levels of truth in them, not the King James Version, but the original scriptures. These three levels he viewed as the same makeup as our own being, a Body, as Soul and a Spirit. The first, most obvious truth of the scriptures was to take them at face value, reading the scriptures like anyone would read a book, what you see is what you get. This was the Body of the scriptures. However, there was, in the same verses, a deeper truth that was below the obvious, surface level. This was the Soul of the scriptures. Thirdly, there was a level of understanding regarding the same scriptures that was "perfect truth", the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of scripture. In this particular verse, Paul is speaking to us from the "musterion", the Sacred Secret of the Spirit of the Word, which would speak to those with ears to hear of a greater understanding regarding this subject of incorruptibility and immortality.

1 Cor 15:51-57
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory KJV

I know we all think we have thoroughly read this particular piece of scripture, but I would urge you to read it again, but this time expecting to see the 3rd level of understanding in it. In verse 51, the term sleep would be concerning a "physical death" which is the term Jesus used concerning the state of Lazarus. The word, "change" would be something much more relevant to us than a change that takes place at 30,000 feet in the Rapture, but it would behoove us to see this change as one that happens from the inside out, not made accessible to prior generations, but in this, the REGENERATION of the Son of God, it is an event that takes place in the Temple of God, which is you! The CHANGE is what we must focus on here, as it is not actually referring to a physical immortality but an incorruptible nature. This is the experience of METAMORPHOSIS that we are to be involved in, a "metamorphoo" of a swallowing up of death by a LIFE that is able to free us from the God-ordained death that is the side effect of sin. Again, Christ has not only disannulled the covenant we had with death, He has broken our agreement with hell through His life, death and resurrection.

Many folks today think physical immortality is what this change is all about, but if you notice in your King James bible, there is only one true emphasis in verse 53, when Paul uses the word "must" which is a proactive term, one of action, and this has to do with the change from corruptible to Incorruptibility. The second part of this verse is an automatic result of the first and only "action" of change, which is evidenced by the fact that even the King James translators have left the second "must" in italics, their way of letting us know that particular word was not included in the Greek translation. So, physical immortality is not something we pray for and seek after, but it is one of those wonderful "automatics" of God's process of metamorphosis concerning our becoming WHOLE. For me, this is an action of life overcoming death, and is not to be put off into the future but is to be entered into right now. If we will allow ourselves to be judged now, purified now, instructed and reproved now, in this life, then in the eons to come there will be no further judgments necessary. It is appointed unto man once to die, then the judgment. Again, if we think of death only having to do with the grave, then this would mean this death would be the grave, but for me, this "dying" would signify for some the grave, but for others it would be an appointment of having Christ separate us from our carnal ways and change us by His instructive judgment into a greater WHOLENESS of our being. II Cor 5 1-4 speaks directly to this.

2 Cor 5:1-4
5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. KJV

Notice, once again, the emphasis is not on a futuristic event, but "we that are in this tabernacle", those that are living in their physical tabernacle, do groan to be "clothed upon", an inside out action of metamorphosis.

There is much more that could be written on this, but this is, to me, the greater salvation that is the direct consequence and action of the past fact of the great conciliation in Christ, in God. I always enjoy reading the viewpoints of other, and I do know there are many others that do not see this the same way as myself, but if we are careful not to box God into our past theological confinements and let Him teach us the deeper levels of understanding regarding His plan of the ages and for all generations of mankind, then we can continue to diligently and correctly apply the scriptures not only to past generations, but for our present generation. For the scriptures do point to a "chosen generation" that will be the "firstfruits" to experience God through a celebration of God tabernacling with them, filling them with Light and Glory.

Of course on this day we think of our favorite lassy, Jenny, who lives on the Emerald Isle with her favorite big man and precious little man.

.While on vacation in Rome, I noticed a marble column in St. Peter's with a golden telephone on it. As a young priest passed by, I asked who the telephone was for. The priest told me it was a direct line to heaven, and if I'd like to call, it would be a thousand dollars. I was amazed, but declined the offer.

Throughout Italy, I kept seeing the same golden telephone on a marble column. At each, I asked about it and the answer was always the same: It was a direct line to heaven, and I could call for a thousand dollars.

Then --

I finished my tour in Ireland. I decided to attend Mass at a local village church. When I walked in the door, I noticed the golden telephone. Underneath it there was a sign stating: "DIRECT LINE TO HEAVEN: 25 cents."

"Father," I said, "I have been all over Italy and in all the cathedrals I visited, I've seen telephones exactly like this one. But the price is always a thousand dollars. Why is it that this one is only 25 cents?"

The priest smiled and said, "Darlin', you're in Ireland now. It's a local call."

THE ECONOMICS OF A SON ....... "Godwrestling"

.

After a long separation Jacob is returning to the land of his father. He knows this also means a showdown with his brother, Esau. Thirty four years prior, Jacob had fled Esau's wrath. This long avoided confrontation may well cost Jacob his life. On his journey home, just before meeting Esau, Jacob and his clan come to the River Jabbok.

Jacob sends his wives, his maids and his eleven children across the river. That night Jacob is left alone, and in the dark God comes to wrestle with him. They wrestle all night long in an epic battle. As day is about to break God touches the hollow of Jacob's thigh, painfully dislocating his leg. Still, Jacob will not be subdued. Jacob will not give in. He will not let go until God blesses him. Sorely crippled and and in terrible despair Jacob cries out, “I will not let you go unless you bless me!”

The "heel catcher", "the supplanter", "the attacker from the rear", Jacob has been beaten at his own game. And with this Divine beatdown Jacob receives a new name. From this day on, Jacob will carry a new name and he will limp.

Nowadays, I look for those that have a "halt in their giddy-up". Those that sorely limp, you know have battled hard with God. Oh, God bless 'em .... for most honored are those God has chosen worthy to wrestle with. Yes, Lord bless those sons that limp through their earthly walk. For I have been given an inspired vision to see what lays beyond the halted steps of these veterans of great battles fought and lost with their God. I have wept at the hidden beauty of these lamed ones. While they carry a halt in their steps on earth, I have seen them run through the Heavens as strong horses full of God's power and glory. Lord, I only pray you grant me to run with them!

What a blessing it is to find one, that you know God has a short reign on. They have no place to turn ... no place to go. You might even see that reign tightened as you fellowship and you share in the frustrations and the pain of dreams and plans delayed. You know well the drill yourself, thus you empathize, you pray and you encourage. It's a rare thing to find one that is made for a wrestling match with God.

On the other hand, how often in the past I thought, I had found one that really knew Him ..... knew Him intimately and had tasted the fellowship of His suffering .... really knew God's heart. Then later, I was sorely disappointed. I found we weren't kinsmen, but of differing tribes. We were of a different land. Our language was not common. Yeah, the disappointment hurts and it hurts deeply. However, you continue to search through the crowds of Christendom, knowing there are hidden a few more kinsmen to be still found.

I praise Him and pray daily for the brethren that He has brought to me. These are those I sup with, in the sweet light of fellowship where there is no shadow of pretense or advantage. What wondrous glory to share Jesus with those that have been stripped of all false securities. How beautiful an honor it is, to sit with one that has been wounded, crippled and broken down until they realized, like Jacob, their true nature and their real name.

Oh how I love Jesus' kinsmen for it His death working in them that brings life to me and vice versa. Another wheel within the wheel, a shining circle of love unbroken.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
2Cr 4:6-12

These below are some of my favorite scriptures for I know of these battles and I love those that have also fought them. God yes, these wrestlers turned prince's...... they have a different name and only those of the same tribe, know this name. Is this not the tribal initiation? Is this not where the new name is given? I think so.

And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two women servants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok. And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had. And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me. I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. Gen 32:22-30

My friend have you been to Peniel. Has God wrestled with you until He has made you confess your true character and your real nature to Him? Has He humbled you by placing His finger in the hollow of your thigh? Has He left you with a limp that you might ever be known as one that wrestled with God?

If He has, you are Israel*
And you are my kinsmen
And I love you like a long lost brother.

"And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved."

"And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept. And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me."Gen 32:29,30 & Gen 33:1,4,10

God would not tell Jacob with whom he battled. Yet, Jacob calls the place where he wrestled "God's Face", because he had seen God face to face there.

The limping Jacob then crosses the river, where he meets Esau. Esau falls on Jacob's neck, kissing and hugging him. Jacob exclaims, "seeing Esau is like seeing the face of God."

We will wrestle with many things in this life and in reality we are wrestling God. We will also see God's face in the most unlikely of places and in the most unlikely of men. Such are the appointed ways of a "Godwrestler"

THE ECONOMICS OF A SON ....... "The World Sees a Depression, We See Beulah"

.
For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. And the Nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
Isa 62:1-5

FINAL INSTRUCTIONS
Moses will be dying in a few days and Joshua will be taking over and leading the children into the promised land. This is the is backdrop for the Book of Deuteronomy which is a record of the final review and the last instructions by God through His prophet Moses.

Deuteronomy 20 is the statement of the Israelite's covenant God, of how they are to do the impossible thing. Moses speaking for God, tells the Israelite children that when they go into the promised land there will be enemies that are going to take on many appearances as they come against you. You are going to see large armies with many horses and chariots. They will have many things you don't have.

As if the odds are already heavy on the other side, Moses adds more to their favor as he enlists his army. The Old Patriarch asks, "is there any of you that are going to be getting married soon? If so put up your hand."
The hands go up and Moses tells them to go home.

What the heck, the men think. We need every man we can get!
Moses replies, "Did you not hear what the priest said? The battle belongs to God and He doesn't need many. Just a few will do. Anybody have a house to build?"
The hands go up and Moses bids them, "off you go ...... go look after your house."

"Anybody just plant a vineyard? Okay you with hands raised go tend your grapes and make them ready for when we get home."

My gosh! Everyone is being filtered out and then the great leader gives the final separating words and the most important. "Is anybody afraid?"

We know what fear does and how quickly and completely it spreads. It must be cut out, to where only that which are left are those that believe their God is able to deliver every enemy into their hands.
Victory will be wrought by the believing few as God does His business through them.

CHRIST THE VICTOR THROUGH OUR WEAKNESS

Oh dear brother, dear sister can you hear the Lord's voice come to you in this hour as we embark on a spiritual quest into a territory never before tread. He knows you would trust in the horses and chariots and even the sword if He should allow them. Instead He encourages you to come in your weakness and your futility, expectant that the indwelling Christ will show Himself, victor over every enemy, every battle, and every situation. Through many trials already, Jesus has weened you from the arm of flesh and the things of the world. Your trust is only in Him today. “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Ps 20:7

Wow, it's backward thinking isn't it. And we who used to revel in the power and authority that we could conjure up from our souls have been thrown into a loop or maybe it is a lifeline. After years of great pretense we finally saw through the facade and reality set in. The latent power of the religious soul would no longer sustain us. We discovered that when we are weak we are strong. When we had no strength and nothing of ourselves to give, God released His power and accomplished the improbable and the impossible in our lives. My gosh! the principles of faith were absolute weakness and no hope in our heart from anything natural. With these principles He has taken us places never dreamed of and most often He dragged us.

We are God's suffering conquerors because we have, first and foremost, been conquered by His faithful love come in the form of judgement and mercy.
In this day, made dark and frightful to many, there are overcomers arising above the angst. These are men and woman made humble, pure in heart and pure in spirit. They are dressed in white and carry a new name and while the world cowers they are made ready to run like strong horses. And run they shall, taking the land as they make the kingdoms of this world the Kingdoms of their Lord and their Christ.

God bless you saints, you are the "conquering few" chosen of God. You are the Joshua's and Caleb's and you have no fear returning to the congregation of men to give the good report, "we can take the land!" Yes, in the midst of the fearful, let the conquering phrase, "we can take the land!" ever be in your minds and in your mouths.

Sure there will be times when doubt and anxiety care to enter in, and disturb your peace and your testimony but these are times where prayer and communion with the Father go a long way. The world is ever at your door to entice you into making a covenant or an agreement with the inhabitants of land. The carnal mind cries out to do that which is prudent and reasonable. and given it's lead, the soul will paint a thousand well crafted scenarios, but these are but the leaven of imaginations that separate one from the Tree of Life. Prudence and reasoning can never replace the direction of the Spirit and the voice of the Father, and when leaned on prudence and reasoning stand at enmity with God.

When we lay down or have a moment's rest let us allow the Spirit to fill us with the best and not the worst, the beautiful and not the ugly. Let us meditate on those things that are true, noble, authentic, gracious and tenderly filled with love.

"......... the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things ........... and the God of peace shall be with you."
Phl 4:7-9b

With our feet shod and our minds renewed, we shall go forth into this frightened and frustrated world and spread a message of faith instead of fear. We have been through the deep river. We've been tried and tested and now there are many a poor pilgrim standing on the bank waiting only a word of encouragement.

I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isa 6:8

Oh, how our hearts have long yearned to be sent and now this is the long awaited hour. And we have been emptied til we have nothing to give, but Him. We are lost in Him and there is no better place in all the world. The Lord alone is all a frightened child need and so we shall gather them and point the way.

I love Thee, Lord, but with no love of mine,
For I have none to give;
I love thee, Lord but all the love is thine.
For by thy love I live.
I am as nothing, and rejoice to be
Emptied, and lost, and swallow'd up in thee.

Thou, Lord, alone, art all thy children need,
And there is none beside;
From thee the streams of blessedness proceed;
In thee the blessed abide.
Fountain of life, and all-abounding grace,
Our source, our center, and our dwelling place.

EACH MAN A WORLD and then some

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead ....."

Rom 1:20

Physicists and cosmologists have been exploring the world of the atom for over a century, within a scientific field known as quantum mechanics. In the 1980's this field opened up to great discoveries because of the emergence of new and sophisticated equipment. With this equipment and along with advances in mathematics it had now become possible to plot the nature and characteristics of the sub particles that made up the atom. To everyone's surprise these smallest of particles of the material world were discovered to take on the characteristic of waves of energy rather than inert material. These subatomic particles also behaved in very strange and unexpected ways. The strangest phenomenon with these most minute of particles was that their behaviour was actually effected by the action of one passively viewing them. The introduction of a human's gaze caused unexpected results and thus the desired objectivity of these experiment were a wash. The presence of the experimenter now had to be thrown into the mix of data. Whoa! this threw a whole new plane of immeasurable data into the equation. Thus the physicists were left scratching their heads. I ask, "were the creative and dominion forces in man effecting the nature of matter?" It seems many and varying experiments conducted since, have clearly illustrated such.

With these new discoveries came also the many theories of multiple or parallel universes. To date there seems to be scientific evidence of at least eleven multi-verses. There are also some theorists that believe with further study the number of multi-verses or parallel worlds will be shown to be infinite. Even with as little knowledge as I possess, as evidenced by my shoddy scientific explanations (lol) I, for what it's worth, would tend to side with the "infinite" prognosis.

Any way, stumbling and bumbling along, it was the arrival of "super string theory" that actually gave evidence that the sub-atomic particles were more like waves or vibrations on very tiny strings. The example of a violin string being played to produce a range of notes was given as an example. And of course one violin can play many different tunes. With advancements in string theory, then came membrane theory bringing forth an added dimension. This was an enhancement where the stings or waves were believed to be attached to a stretchable membrane.

How all this points to evidence of many worlds I haven't a clue but that's what the brights ones say. Anyway being the imaginative simpleton with a bag of hammers for a brain I thought of the "membrane" mentioned above as the sphere of the Kingdom of God and the strings that make up the many worlds, as each of us; each person a world. Each string or world touches and effects another world with the result being that every world is interactive one with the other. It is God as the attached membrane that stretches and pulls taunt each string which in turn causes sympathetic resonance effecting all the other strings/worlds. The sum of this idea, is that every action ordained by our sovereign God, no matter how minute, effects to some degree everything that makes up the Kingdom, of which heaven and earth are part. In my minds eye, I can picture every action of God bringing forth a new world-form each distinct from another. God is, as the great conductor with a gazillion violins with a gazillion strings producing an unbelievable symphony which can only be appreciated and experienced in increasing measure as one gets closer to the fullness of time and the full stature of His likeness.

We must remember the scientist are looking at that which is really invisible but that which gives evidence by effects (IE. gravity, magnetism etc.), thus they use terms like strings, waves and membrane to describe such. Also, although quantum theory deals much with the micro or smallest of entities the same actions and characteristics are seen in the macro such as the astronomical heavens. For example information about "black holes" is garnered by experiments done with the atom. Lastly if there be any credence or validity to my dreamy analogy, of tying all this multi-verse stuff to the Kingdom of God, I can but point to this scripture:

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead ....." Rom 1:20

As far as my world or your world being effected by each other's world, this is a pretty good example of such interaction. This also from the Written Word:

And whether one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it; or one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. 1Cor 12:26

Seems my friend Clay asked a question and then answered it, in a forum message the other day. Speaking to the subject at hand, I believe he is right on with this:

"The question is what is 'our world'? I see it as each person. Each person is a world and there are a myriad of worlds within even these worlds."

And so, with such a viewpoint of interconnectedness, maybe we should be encouraged, as we tread this earth, to speak, act and pray life and healing into the worlds of those around us. Our words, thoughts and actions all make a difference. God help us. Help us to realize that all that we do resonates into places and realms we have never even dreamed of. With that, the lyrics of this Torango song beautifully remind us that we are indeed creators and healers to the nations or maybe even better said " the worlds."

"Stretch forth your hands, and heal the nations
Speak forth the Word, and give them life.
This is the day, that God has chosen;
And as He is, so are we, in this world!"

CAUGHT UP
Some years ago, while praying and fully awake, God came and caught me up and allowed me to have a touch of that symphonic experience I mentioned above. It was the experiencing of the worlds within worlds and the circles within circles of God's wondrous Kingdom. This was, I believe, a vision of God's throne and what I like to call the Merkabah, "God's flaming chariot". I also would like to believe that this which I experienced was a foretaste of that which took Enoch and Elijah away from this world. The prophet Ezekiel saw and described this supernal vehicle being as being filled with wheels within a wheel. Of all the experiences, dreams, visions, or anything else of a spiritual nature that I have enjoyed in my walk with God, that night's prayer visitation of the Merkabah was by far, the most glorious and exhilarating. It was so much so, that I wanted to remain in this realm of incredible ecstasy. I had no desire to come back. But alas, I was bid by the Master to return. My Lord solemnly, also told me to never seek to experience this realm on my own. With this stern warning, I felt like He was saying there is a counterfeit. Possibly, this counterfeit is that which the New Agers experience. I have actually been told by one New Age practitioner, that had been set free for a while, that is indeed the truth. Like all else that is real in the Christ, there is along side it a soulish counterfeit.

I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth; such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth; how that he was caught up into paradise ..... 2Cr 12

The word “caught up” in the Greek is "harpazo" which means to take something of someone firmly, quickly or rapaciously. It comes from the root word "haireomai" meaning to take for oneself, usually quickly with great skill and strength, to seize. In the Scriptures "caught up" then refers to us not so much ascending, as it does for us to be caught up, seized, snatched and laid hold upon by a power beyond ourselves.

I believe the experiences of being "caught up" is part of the process of transformation, where we are taken from corruption to incorruption, from disrespect to esteem, from weakness to power, and finally from a natural body to a spiritual body. And yes, surely God give us foretastes of such glory, as he did Paul on the Damascus Road and John with his Revelation.

So in closing, I feel led to share an old blog that I believe speaks to many of the things we have been discussing of late. In this message, which has always been a favorite of mine, there is, I believe an example of a real life experience of being "caught up" and yes, it was strong and so quick and it took the very skill that only our Lord possesses. This is a story of how in the midst of futility a last crying prayer is answered. Later, in in the span of 1/1000's of a second, four years of another world is lived out and indelibly ingrained on an exceedingly appreciative soul. This story is about the "many worlds" and the "changing of times." It's about Jesus and His "harpazo". I pray it will encourage you and maybe even wash you afresh in tears.

INTO A DAUGHTER'S HEART
If you have ever laid in bed and wept because of a person you will forever miss or occasions and enjoyments you have been deprived of because of one hard circumstance or another, I pray this story will soften your pain. I wrote this account a couple years ago and even today it is one of my favorite writings ever. It seems even the original emotions, once so deeply felt as I typed this story out, have been made afresh as I read through it once again this evening.

I want to share a most extraordinary experience I had a couple years ago where God for one second took me out side the parameters of this world and deep into the heart of my daughter.

My daughter Erin, upon entering the University of Kansas received a letter from the Athletics Dept. inviting any interested freshmen women to try out for the KU Women's Rowing Team. Having been a recreational runner through out high school and being bold of spirit she decided to give it a try. After many challenging hours and much pain she was accepted onto the Novice Rowing Team. For a year's hard work Erin, was then elevated to the Varsity squad her sophomore year and awarded a full four year athletic scholarship.

It seems almost four years had gone by and because of the distance and my lack of funds I was never able to visit my daughter on campus nor see any of her races. I knew that it was a "must" that I at least attend the last home race of her senior year. This is an event, where besides the race, the KU Athletics Dept. puts on a big BBQ for all the fans and also included is a ceremony honoring the parents of the graduating senior crew members, along with their daughters.

My ex-wife and Erin's mother not being able to attend this event, just raised the stakes higher for me to be there. Three weeks away and after much prayer I still saw no way that I was going to be able to afford a flight to Kansas for the race. I was just heart broken and I was letting God know in prayer how much this hurt, when in the midst of my petitions I received a phone call from my sister offering to fly me out to the race. She, her mate and two of my other sisters were all going to be flying in for Erin's celebratory weekend and they wanted me there for sure.

Lest I take from my dramatic event, I will tell you now that we ended up with about fifteen Erin supporters in our crowd and when we left Lawrence Kansas after that weekend we were the talk of all the girls and their parents as they marveled at the fun and exuberance we had in loving and rooting for our girl. All of us in the group were stone sober during our whole stay but because of our joy we were often asked what we were drinking. LOL

One other exceptional event I want to share that lends undeniable support to God's miraculous ways, concerns an oversight of mine that became apparent at the Kansas airport. I found myself in a terrible dilemma when upon securing my reserved rental car it was noticed my drivers license was expired thus negating any use of a rental car. My daughter's apartment was forty minutes away, and as I was standing out on the curb contemplating how I was going to complete my journey, a woman in a van drove up. She asked me if I had seen some people waiting for a shuttle. I said no and asked her where she was going and she told me Lawrence, which is where my daughter lived and where the university is located. She then told me to hop in when I told her of my destination. Now that's God's curb side service and how did He know I would never once be in need of an automobile the whole time I was there?

I spent five days in my daughter extra bedroom that week and I would accompany her each afternoon to the river for rowing practice. In those five days I was blessed to enjoy all of her day to day activities, meet all her friends and visit all her haunts. It could not have been a more enjoyable and precious time, even without my miraculous experience which was soon to come.

So the big day of the race and celebration has arrived and it is an absolutely stupendous day to spend on the river; warm, still and not a cloud to be seen. We watched all the early races with Erin in our company, while anxiously awaiting the final and most important race of the day. I am weeping right now as I begin my account of what shall take place during this; Erin's last ever home race of her rowing career.

Being an ex-professional photographer I had brought my 35MM camera with all the lenses so I might capture the events of that day. I was set up on the shore about fifty yards in front of the finish markers in anticipation of getting that magic shot where Erin and the girls will absolutely be giving it their all during the final sprint. It was so amazing to feel the heightened anticipation within the crowd and myself as the boats came into site a mile away. The closer they came the louder the crowd cheered and as the boats closed in to where I was standing every one was hollering and clapping as loud and as hard as they could. Just as the Kansas boat, which was in a narrow lead, barely passed where I was standing I readied my camera with it's long telephoto lens on Erin for that perfect shot. Looking through that lens it was hard to comprehend the beauty and perfect rhythm of eight girls rowing together while exerting every last ounce of their energy and strength for the last few meters of the race.

I tightened in my focus and moved from the whole of the boat to where I could just view Erin filling up the frame. I fine focused and as I hit the shutter button it happened! In one single, incredible mind altering second God took me deep into Erin's precious heart and I experienced every moment she had given to rowing in the last four years. I felt every ache and blister she had ever suffered during those years. I gloriously experienced all the joy she had received and also the whole of the disappointment she had ever endured during her four long rowing seasons. I tasted deeply the spirit of camaraderie she shared with her many boat-mates along with the encouragement, sisterhood, and closeness that had grown strong between them. Incredibly I also was given understanding of all the days Erin had gotten up at five in the morning to train in the cold and rain plus all the evenings she dragged herself home after a second evening practice to do piles of homework. Piercing my heart was also the pure pleasure she enjoyed knowing how very proud her Dad and everyone was of her this day. I could truly go on page after page describing what I experienced and saw in that smallest increment of time when my camera shutter opened and closed during that perfect shot.

I believe I was the only parent that day that had tears in their eyes at the finish of that race. My sisters and our group of friends sure gave me hell when they noticed this. If only God would have allowed me tell them the reason. It seemed it was just too precious for Him also.

Until I have left this earth, I shall never forget how God took me beyond time and space that wonderful and amazing day and allowed me to enter into my daughter's heart and experience all that I thought I had missed. I can't help but believe this most precious experience was a foretaste of what we will all know one day when we are made complete in Him. I have been assured many times in payer that I need never feel sad that I have missed anything of this world because it is all being kept in store to be enjoyed throughout eternity.

And people wonder why I cry sometimes when I tell them how much I love Him. Who could ever give you a gift like that!

Jack

PS. There is a rain storm taking place over my key board right now, but I want to also tell you that Erin went from a walk-on, never having seen a rowing shell or an oar to be captain of the team and "Oars Woman of the Year. " She
will also, forever be my "little girl".
