BROTHER, YOU SLANDER OUR FATHER AND OUR GOD!

>
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 1Cor 15:24-28

The Holy Spirit some time ago taught me to always try and minister to the "one" before ministering to the "multitude." Thus, it has become almost a habit for me to send out a few E-mails before I write for our blog or participate on a public forum. It is kind of a type of "leaving the ninety nine to care for the one." So this morning, first off, I wrote a letter of encouragement to a sister who's father is suffering and then I typed a short rebuke to a brother that owns and administrates a forum that still holds to the idea that our Father tortures and torments for all of eternity most of His offspring.

This is a simple reproof of the "eternal torment doctrine" by defining God as the "All in All." It is so clear to me that when we see the total inclusiveness of "All in All" we surely can know all men will be saved through Christ. I read a brother's statement below (in red) on his forum today and felt led to reply. I mixed some words by Elwin Roach and a list by Preston Eby in with my thoughts here.

Brother, you slander God and belittle the Cross of Christ with this statement below:

"One enticing and detrimental illusion that is spreading like a cancer through the body is an aggregation of false concepts sometimes referred to as Universal Reconciliation."

God doesn't tell us to love our enemies and then burn and torment His enemies for eternity. How absurd this belief in eternal torment!

You can see the absurdity of your position by the simple use of reasoning the concept of God as "All in All". Nothing of creation is lost as Christ's glorious cross redeems all. Please take a moment after prayer and think about this below.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. Col. 1:16

Paul related it once in a very short but powerful statement: "For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen" (Rom. 11:36). Simply put, everything came out of God, it all passes through Christ and His cross. It returns back to Him from whence it came. It returns in resurrection glory changed to the same heavenly substance of Himself.

Col. 1:16 speaks of all these things below. All are out of, through, and back into God. There is no exception to the "All in All."

1. All things in heaven

2. All things in earth

3. Visible things

4. Invisible things

5. Visible things in heaven

6. Visible things in earth

7. Invisible things in heaven

8. Invisible things in earth

9. Thrones in heaven

10. Thrones on earth

11. Dominions in heaven

12. Dominions on earth

13. Principalities in heaven

14. Principalities on earth

15. Powers in heaven

16. Powers on earth

Be blessed my friend,

Jack

Note: A couple months ago I lasted about a four days and four posts on this forum before this good brother gave me the left boot of fellowship. LOL He seemed to think I was poisoning his forum with my messages of God's enduring grace and mercy. I pray, soon he sees the enormity of Christ's sacrifice.
