THE HOUR COMETH AND NOW IS ~ "Outside the Gate & Inside the Heart"

.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23,24

How truly good our Lord is, when we beckon to His call and follow him wherever He goes. It was a few years ago I finally gave up the last of my regular incursions into the Sunday gatherings of the organized church. Off and on for decades I had been in and out of the orthodox system as I wandered to find a place of rest in Christ. When I left this time I found that God did reside in an incredibly greater measure outside the a gate and away from the camp. Away from the din and discourse of religion, I could now hear and see Him more clearly than ever before in my life.

I would be remiss should I not tell you that there were periods of time that I was a bit lonely for a little face to face fellowship with like minded believers. But, as it is when we are faithful to follow the Shepherd He will bring us to verdant pastures and restful streams. So it was when not long after leaving my church group that God brought to me, within a five minute walk, the most wondrous family that also had come out from the old religious order. For over a year and half we have been getting together a couple times a week not by appointment but just as the Spirit leads. We might just have coffee and a chat or I might just stop by on my walk to the neighborhood store for an unannounced visit to see the children. What ever the occasion, the presence of the Lord is always there, so tender, joyous and full of grace and it seems to be growing more so as time passes. How often we find, that which we were called to sacrifice, later comes back to us in a different form but with greater and more pure measure .............. greater and more wonderful than we could have ever imagined. Isn't His provision miraculous!

It so happens last night I was looking for another of my friends named Cam on the Internet. I hoped I might leave him a note assuring he and his wife that they were being remembered nightly in prayer. Joian gave me an address and some how when I plugged it in to my search engine I was directed to a new site I had never visited before. Seems that Cam had a few messages there but what truly excited me was to read this writing which I copied below. It was written by Charlie who runs the site and it seems he is hearing the same call as I and many others are in this day.

I have also added a mature word after Charlie's message by another friend. She writes in a prophetic tone and if you are familiar with the types and shadows alluded to in her message I know it will thrill your heart in confirmation to what God is saying in His land today ......... His land which you I be.

Be blessed,

Jack

....... Christians who no longer find themselves within "the gates" of organized religion

"Therefore, Jesus also suffered outside the gate, to consecrate the people by His own blood. Let us then go to Him outside the camp, bearing the reproach that He bore. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one that is to come."
Hebrews 13

"We believe that God has moved "outside the camp" to make the very statement that he made to Moses when he moved the tent of meeting outside the camp of rebellious Israel to wait for a new and faithful generation that would follow Him more perfectly. Let us all first search our hearts as we go forth unto Him, outside the camp."
( a quote by George Davis and Michael Clark from God Meant it For Good: http://awildernessvoice.com/GodMeantGood.html)

And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp. Exodus 33:7

OUTSIDE THE CAMP

Outside the camp is an interesting study. There is a negative and positive side to it. Of course inside or within the camp refers to where the people of God gathered and arrayed their tents around the Tabernacle in the wilderness. All activity and religious ceremony took place there.

Outside the camp was where lepers, unclean people, refuse and animal carcasses were taken. In most cases this would be the negative side of outside the camp. However, there were some occasions when God in His glory showed up outside the camp, which is very significant.

Usually the first mention of something in the Bible is important and sets an initial pattern that will be built upon through out the Bible. For example: the tree of life is first mentioned in Genesis and the final book in the Bible also mentions the tree of life in full fruition. The same is true with this phrase. There are many verses that use this phrase through out the Bible. We will just look at a few in order to see God’s heart and mind about outside the camp.

The first such occasion is found in Exodus 19. Moses has been on the mountain and God has been talking to him. Moses comes down, reenters the camp and tells the people what God is saying. The people respond by saying, all God has said, we will do. At that point, the people probably thought they could do it. It’s so easy to flippantly say you will DO whatever God says. If only they/we knew!

And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him. And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

Exodus 19:3-8

Finally the day arrives for God to come down among the people and Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God. God tests His people by demonstrating His awesome power, holiness and glory with thunder, lightning, fire and smoke.

And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. Exodus 19:16-18

Later Moses explains that the purpose of the test was to impress the people of the fear of God so they may not sin. The people tremble, God calls Moses to come back up to the mountain. Now keep in mind that God has come down to meet with His people and this is all taking place outside the camp. It is at this time that God speaks forth and gives Moses the Ten Commandments.

We all know the story of the people of God’s great sin, and the golden calf incident. But the next appearance of God OUTSIDE the camp is equally significant. It’s found in Exodus 33. God has dealt with the sin in the camp, and God has declared to Moses what a stiff-necked people they are. Moses goes down and removes his personal tent from inside the camp and places it OUTSIDE the camp. At this point in time, Moses tent becomes the tent of meeting.

And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.
Exodus 33:7

The reason it is called that is because God personally comes down and the Lord spoke to Moses face to face as a man speaks to his friend. Wow! Can you imagine the God of the universe being so intimate with someone?

And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. Exodus 33:11
It is also called the tent of meeting because that is where everyone who sought the Lord went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp. The people within the camp witnessed the pillar of cloud come down and they worshipped at their tent door inside the camp.

And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp ........ And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. Exodus 33:7,10

It seems the people inside the camp were content with watching. They had spoken earlier to Moses at the foot of the mountain after witnessing God’s awesome glory, and said, You speak with us, and we will hear: but do not let God speak to us lest we die. Moses tries to reason with the people by saying, Do not fear, for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.

And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. Exodus 20:19,20

The people failed the test and were content to remain afar. To this day, most are within the camp, safe and content to let someone else face God for them while they watch and listen from afar.

Many may be familiar with Heb. 13:13, but notice in Vs.11 it says specifically that the bodies of the animals sacrificed are burned outside the camp. Vs.12 says THAT is where Jesus also suffered, then comes verse 13, with the invitation that WE also should go forth unto Him outside the camp. What began as something negative has now become one of the most positive things in the universe!

Hebrews 13
11For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

What can we learn from this? When the people of God within the camp, fail to see what God is doing and wanting to do, God chooses to go outside the camp to declare His power, holiness and glory to those want an intimate relationship with Him. These are they who by faith draw near and embrace the fear of the Lord, learning the wisdom and knowledge of God as they press on to higher ground. Those who remain outside the camp chose the better part like Mary did, but those inside the camp chose to merely watch, hear and worship afar at their tent door.

Why are so many still remaining within the camp? Could it be because there is a Christian religious system today that is based upon one or a few men who draw close? Do you think that maybe it is that same system which does not encourage nor provide the way for ALL to find and remain (abide) with God in intimate fellership? How can they if they are taught it’s OK to just sit, watch, listen and worship? There is a paid staff that will do the rest for you.

Jesus is calling for us to join Him outside the camp today. Which do you want? Stand or sit aloof in your convenient tent door (pew), and have someone else tell you what God says, placing your trust and money in that - OR risk stepping OUTSIDE, bearing the reproach of Christ and partaking of His Divine nature in fellership with God and others outside?

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2Pet.1:4

Cardinal's prophetic word:

Walking in new revelation/instructions from the Lord to move with the cloud, even if that means coming outside the camp to die with 2 or 3, is ALSO building upon the Christ built inside us. A year after I left, He instructed one of my detractors to leave also. If I had not left, we'd both have "died", stillborn under the flesh of the "mother". Where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name, there HE is, in the midst of us, is in there, for a reason. He had Moses come alone up on top of the mount for a reason. He had Jesus come up on top of the mount for a reason. The rest were WAITING down below, to receive the oil that only flows from the HEAD downward to the hem of the garment.

This is WAITING upon the LORD, to receive their own instruction to meet Him in the cloud, as called out ones, the end purpose the other stages were a preparation for. The cloud He's talking about is the pattern of Moses and Elijah, the law and the prophets, in PERFECT balance SUSPENDED ABOVE the earth, (If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me), PERFECTED in the Spirit of Christ, and witnessed by the Father as to the perfect pattern Son, who said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear ye him".

"Hearing" to the Father, has a different connotation to Him, than that word does to us in a natural sense. Hearing means, to perceive thru the mind of Christ, "seeing" the pattern "heard" at the same time, and then doing or obeying what is both "heard" and "seen". That's why faith is perfected by being a "doer" of the Word and not just a "hearer" of the Word. Seeing the pattern then, is not enough, to fulfill all righteousness, the pattern must be walked out one way or another, which is why Jesus told John that both baptisms were necessary to fulfill all righteousness. One, the law/natural/Moses in type, is a baptism unto the likeness of His death. The other, the Spirit of grace/Elijah in type, a baptism into the likeness of His life/power.

And yes, they were getting drunk, and we are told not to get drunk as those that get drunk in the night. Drunk in the night time of their souls, drunk on the wine of Pentecost which was only to last 2 days/2000 years of the inner court realm, the 5th and 6th days that were both darkness and light, not discerning that the light of the 7th day which was no part darkness, has come and is coming now, to those that will both hear/see and walk. In that day, the acceptable year of the Lord, the blind can see, the deaf can hear, and the lame can walk.

We are accountable for what we know, ie. what is revealed to us personally by the Spirit of God is His truth. Thy Word is Truth, and that Word is both spiritual/heaven and literal/earth, and must come into agreement IN US, just as Moses and Elijah sat on his right hand and on his left, as we align ourselves up with HIM in the midst of us, so too do Moses and Elijah take their place on either side of us, the spiritual meaning of where there are 2 or 3 of you gathered in my name/nature, there I am in the midst of you. Everything that HE is, HE is, IN US, as we allow Him to reveal Himself and His patterns to us, translating us from glory/terrestrial/Word to glory/celestial/Spirit.

And yes, one was sleeping/joined to his FATHER'S wife, and they are still doing it, joining themselves to a woman/soul that was already married to another, taking the other husbands name/nature, instead of the Father's. For this reason, David was excluded from building the temple, in that the blood on his hands was from killing her husband so that he could join himself to her and produce an heir that would in turn try to usurp the kingdom of his father. And by doing this, they are killing her TRUE husband, "murdering" the Christ that is trying to bring her soul to Him spotless and blameless, no blood on the garments at all. But God knew what was in the heart of man, and so He commanded us to pray for those that are in authority over us (over us for a season), because He knew they would not want to lay down all they had been given BY HIM, to take on the image of sinful flesh to come out and meet Him IN THE AIR, SUSPENDED above the earth on the cross, for ALL men seek after their own things, and not the things which be of Christ.

Melchizedek pattern is prophet, priest and King, and no matter how hard they try to do otherwise in the other 2 courts of understanding, wise men will still follow the starlight, leaving behind their kingdoms, to walk in a strange land in the night time of their souls, bringing the gifts of the inner court to lay at His feet as their crowns, to see the Christ WITHIN, birthed WITHOUT. And He said to them, let the ark go ahead of you 2000 (years/2 days), but only keep your eyes on the ark, for you have not been this way before. Blessings to all........ (Cardinal)

I had to add this which I just read for no other reason but that the Spirit leadeth. I pray it bless you as much as it did me. It speaks tenderly to another place of finding Jesus. It's an old story but it's a good story.

The heart

'Tomorrow morning,' the surgeon began,
'I'll open up your heart...'

'You'll find Jesus there,' the boy
interrupted

The surgeon looked up, annoyed 'I'll
cut your heart open,' he continued,
to see how much damage has been done .'
'But when you open up my heart, you'll
find Jesus in there,' said the boy.

The surgeon looked to the parents, who
sat quietly. 'When I see how much
damage has been done, I'll sew your
heart and chest back up, and I'll plan
what to do next.'

'But you'll find Jesus in my heart.
The Bible says He lives there. The
hymns all say He lives there. You'll
find Him in my heart.'

The surgeon had had enough. 'I'll tell
you what I'll find in your heart.
I'll find damaged muscle, low blood
supply, and weakened vessels.
And I'll find out if I can make you
well.'

'You'll find Jesus there too. He lives
there '

The surgeon left.

The surgeon sat in his office,
recording his notes from the surgery,
'...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration.
No hope for transplant, no hope for
cure. Therapy: painkillers and bed rest. Prognosis:, '
here he paused, 'death within one year.'

He stopped the recorder, but there was
more to be said. 'Why?' he asked aloud.
'Why did You do this? You've put
him here; You've put him in this pain;
and You've cursed him to an early death. Why?'

The Lord answered and said, 'The boy,
My lamb, was not meant for your flock
for long, for he is a part of My flock , and will forever be.
Here, in My flock, he will feel no
pain, and will be comforted as you
cannot imagine.
His parents will one day join him here,
and they will know peace, and
My flock will continue to grow.'

The surgeon's tears were hot, but his
anger was hotter. 'You created that
boy , and You created that heart. He'll
be dead in months. Why?'

The Lord answered, 'The boy, My lamb,
shall return to My flock, for He has
Done his duty: I did not put My lamb
with your flock to lose him, but to
retrieve another lost lamb.' YOU!

The surgeon wept.. The surgeon sat
beside the boy's bed; the boy's
parents sat across from him. The boy
awoke and whispered , 'Did you cut
open my heart?'

'Yes,' said the surgeon.

'What did you find?' asked the boy.

'I found Jesus there,' said the surgeon
